摘要 Method for combining a plesiochronous digital signal with a bit rate of 2048 kbit/s, a plesiochronous stereo sound signal with a bit rate of 1024 kbit/s, a plesiochronous picture signal with a bit rate of 135015.625 kbit/s and - in the case of transmission via a subscriber line - a plesiochronous narrowband ISDN signal with a bit rate of 160 kbit/s to form one digital signal with a bit rate of 139264 kbit/s in a pulse frame with 2928 bits and for separating digital signals of this type with a lower bit rate from a digital signal of this type with a higher bit rate. The 2048 and 1024 kbit/s signals are combined to form an intermediate signal which in turn is combined with the picture signal. The narrowband ISDN signal can be transmitted in otherwise unused signalling bits. Special divisions are indicated for the pulse frames of the intermediate signal and the output signal. All four signals can be plesiochronous in relation to one another. Only one stuffable bit per frame is required for the picture signal. <IMAGE>
