In a control arrangement for a hydraulically operated consumer (1) with a valve (7) on the inflow side, a pressure-compensation valve (5) is provided which is controlled via a signal line (18). The signal line (18) is connected via a first connection branch (19) to the consumer line (12) on the inflow side, via a second connection branch (20) to the connecting line (11) between pressure-compensation valve (5) and valve (7) on the inflow side, and via a third connection branch (21) to the return line (16). A restrictor (22, 23, 24) is arranged in all three connection branches. The restrictor (22) in the first connection branch (19) and/or the restrictor (24) in the third connection branch (21) is bridged by a spring-loaded non-return valve (35, 37). The maximum flow to the consumer or the maximum pressure of the consumer can be limited by means of these non-return valves. <IMAGE>
