The workpieces, which may be mounted on pallets, are intermittently advanced by a hydraulic pusher 22 against a buffer 7 and are transferred from the end to the beginning of the line by a lift 21, a chain conveyer 16 and a lift 19. The work-locating and clamping means are hydraulically actuated. Power sockets 26 are provided on the base members 1 and connected to a main switch 28. Other processes may be carried out such as heat treatment or quenching. |
