CULTURE OF LYSINE-PRODUCING MICROORGANISM, AND CULTIVATION MATERIAL USING SAME

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of lysine, by culturing a lysine-producing microorganism belonging to Brevibacterium genus under the radiation of light having a specific wavelength range, using a material for the culture of a lysine- producing microorganism and capable of controlling the lighting atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A lysine-producing microorganism belonging to Brevibacterium genus is cultured to produce lysine. The productivity of lysine can be improved by carrying out the cultivation under the radiation of light essentially containing the light of >=280nm wavelength. The cultivation is preferably carried out by using a material for the cultivation of a lysine-producing microorganism under radiation of light of >=280nm wavelength, i.e. a cultivation material for lysine- producing microorganism belonging to Brevibacterium genus and capable of controlling the lighting atmosphere under the irradiation with artificial light and/or natural light.
