PURPOSE:To permit high speed printing by structuring a printing head division so that printing data can be divided into each one dot line data for transferring, allowing LED output of the printing data at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A LED driver 3 applies serial-parallel conversion to an input signal which is printing data and is composed mainly of a shift register and latch driver. The figure is made by combining twenty pieces of boards and is the printing head to print nX20 dots for one line. The printing data consists of the data for left half and the data for right half. The left half data is inputted from a LED array module 4 and the right half data is inputted from a LED array module 14. Both are simultaneously applied with serial-parallel conversion. Thus, the printing data of the one dot line is transferred to the printing head part at half time comparing with the method without dividing the printing data into two.
