In the case of a circuit arrangement for voltage and current stabilisation of a high-voltage generator for copiers which operate by means of a corona discharge, current stabilisation is carried out by means of a comparator stage (T2), by comparing a reference voltage (Uref) which is derived from the output voltage (UA) and a control voltage (U2) which is proportional to the difference between the total output current (IA-total) and the load current component (IA-corona) which is not effective in the copier.
