A ramp arrangement for vessels comprises two parts 1, 2 hinge-connected to one another, a support base 3 and a mechanism for swivelling the first part 1 coupled to the cargo hold. The arrangement has a mechanism 12 intended for folding up the parts 1, 2 and comprising a hydraulic cylinder 13, which is articulated to a lever arm 14 fitted to the first part, and a bar 15 coupled to the arm 14 and to the second part 2. The lever arm 14 is designed and arranged in such a way that the articulated connection 16 between the lever arm 14 and the hydraulic cylinder 13 is situated between an articulated connection 17 between the lever arm and the bar 15 and an articulated connection 19 between the lever arm and the first part 1. The articulated connection 18 between the bar 15 and the second part 2 is situated at a distance from the ends 1a, 2a of the parts 1, 2 adjoining one another, at a distance that is approximately equal to the length of the bar 15.
