PURPOSE:To make terminal plates fitted and joined to a core three-dimensionally in a large joint area by a construction wherein projections formed on the terminal plates are put and fitted in concavities formed in the end face of the core. CONSTITUTION:Terminal plates 3 and 4 in a pair are fitted flatly on the end faces 1a and 1b of a core 1. Since the fitting on the core 1 is reinforced by the insertion of projections 6 formed on the fitting face side into concavities 5 formed in the end faces 1a and 1b of the core 1, the joint of the terminal plates 3 and 5 to the core 1 is three-dimensional and very firm, and consequently, the terminal plates 3 and 4 are not separated from the core 1 even when an external force in the vertical direction acts on the terminal plates 3 and 4. It suffices that the depth of the concavities 5 formed in the end faces 1a and 1b of the core 1 is large enough to obtain a joining strength of the fitting which can prevent the separation of said terminal plates 3 and 4 from the core 1 even when the external force in the vertical direction acts on the terminal plate 3 in the state in which the projections 6 formed on the terminal plate 3 are fitted in the concavities 5, and it is determined properly in accordance with the conditions of employment of a chip-type coil element and other factors. |
