PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of a slub yarn per unit apparatus, and improve the quality of the yarn, by controlling the speeds of the fiber-bundle feeding part, the delivery part and the twisting and winding part of a draft mechanism independently, thereby enabling the control of the winding speed according to the change in the denier of the spun yarn. CONSTITUTION:For example, the fiber bundle 1 is introduced successively into the back roller 3 and the front roller 5 driven independently with individual variable speed motors, and the fiber bundle 1 delivered from the front roller 5 is introduced into a twisting and winding part 2 having arbitrarily variable speed and wound. In the above process, the spinning of the slub yarn is carried out while independently controlling the speed of the fiber-bundle feeding part, the speed of the delivery part, and the speed of the twisting and winding part of the drafting mechanism constituting the spinning apparatus. |
