The invention relates to an actuating handle for a changeover valve arranged in sanitary fittings and intended for the selective changeover of the water flowing out, the actuating handle being fixed on an actuating rod passed out of the housing. For releasable fastening of the actuating handle on the actuating rod, it is proposed that the actuating handle be of at least two-part design and, in this arrangement, a lower part is held by gripping surfaces on the actuating rod, by means of a snap joint, an upper part can be attached to the end face of the lower part and, in its attached position, the upper part locks the snap joint of the lower part.
