Method and device for positioning two objects by using magnetism

Method and device for positioning two objects which do not have a specific mutual positional relationship, in arbitrary positions in a prescribed mutual positional relationship inside a three-dimensional space without mutual contact of the objects. Two magnetic detecting systems are arranged in a magnetic field symmetrically about a central magnetic axis. One magnetic detecting system is a field-strength balancing system which can determine the magnetic field at at least three points on a circular path. The other magnetic detecting system has the same central axis as the field-strength balancing system, and executes scanning about the central axis over 360 DEG , in order to obtain the magnetic distribution information of the detecting system. <IMAGE>
