The legs (2, 3) of the chair each merge into a laminated part (2' or 3') projecting approximately at right angles, an oblique laminated surface being achieved by layering. These laminated parts are each seated in a positive-locking manner in a corresponding depression (11) with an oblique counter-laminated surface (1') in the board (1) and are bonded at that point. This results in a lightweight, well-shaped and stackable chair which, in terms of appearance and strength, can be considered to be made of one piece. <IMAGE>
