PURPOSE:To ensure the confirmation of button operation by adopting the constitution that two kinds of long/short button operation confirming tones and a different confirming tone is outputted depending on whether a succeeding signal is accomplished or not in a series of button operations. CONSTITUTION:A control section 3 discriminates whether or not the operation of a function button operation section 1 is effective and also discriminates whether or not the button operation is attended with the succeeding signal. When it is discriminated that the succeeding signal is attened at the rsult of discrimination, a line audible tone is outputted from an audible tone output section 2. When it is discriminated that no succeding signal is attended, a short audible tone is outputted. Through the constitution above, the button operation in an automatic dial telephone set is monitored surely.
