PURPOSE:To display character messages of a character display number or over by providing a means for controlling the sequential transmission of a character display code of a character display device. CONSTITUTION:A reception information memory 11 receives continuously character information and stores it sequentially. The stored character information is arranged by a code converting means 12 so as to be matched with the character display device 14. Then the converting means 12 checks the idle state of the transfer code memory by the code memory 13 and when no idle memory exists, the character display code for one character's share is transmitted, a sequential control means 15 is driven to apply sequential control of the character display codes in the code memory 13 in the lump thereby erasing the earliest code. When the next character information is stored in the memory 11, the sequential transmission control is repeated and when the next character information does not exist in the memory, the operation procedure is completed.
