PURPOSE:To enable superior photohardened adhesion without being affected by temp., oxygen, and humidity by forming a photopolymerizable adhesive layer contg. a specified monomer, oligomer, or polymer on a base plate, and on this layer a specified silicone rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:The material of a lithographic plate requiring no dampening water is prepared by successively forming on the base plate a photopoly merizable adhesive layer and the silicone rubber layer, and the adhesive layer contains a monomer, oligomer, or polymer contg. at least one of photodimerizable groups represented by formula I-VIII in the molecule, and at least one OH group in the molecule, and the layer made of a silicone rubber having a structure of a bridged site of formula IX obtained by additionally reacting a compd. an H-Si group with a compd. having a C-C unsatd. bond. In formulae I-IX, R<1> is 5-20C aryl or heterocyclic; R<2> is H or 1-10C alkyl; R<3> is H, 1-10C alkyl, aryl, alkanoyl, or the like; n is 0-5; AR is aryl; R<4> is H, halogen, 1-10C alkyl; and R<5> is 2-10C alkylylene or alkenylene. |
