PURPOSE:To make the positioning of a punch and die correct and to prevent the generation of a scuffing, etc. by incorporating an obliquely sliding punching tool into the upper die stripper and by providing the means to guide a stripper and die. CONSTITUTION:A press 4 is incorporated as a punching tool in the plate of upper die stripper 18. With the descent of the ram of the press the stripper 18 hits a stopper 12 and the descent of the stripper 18 is stopped. In this case the stripper 18 is guided by a guide pin 19 and descends with keeping its relative position with the lower side and the punching work is progressed. In this case because of the relative position of a punch 4 and die 8 being secured by the guide pin 19 being provided on the lower die a correct edge setting of the punch 4 and die 8 is enabled. Consequently no scuffing is caused on a product. |
