PURPOSE:To obtain a copper alloy for brazing which can drop a current and a voltage at the time of brazing, and scarcely causes thermal distortion of a material to be welded, by forming a copper alloy which has compounded Si and Mn of specified quantities. CONSTITUTION:A copper alloy for brazing serering as a filler metal for MIG or TIG is formed by 4.1-6 wt% Si and 1-3 wt% as indispensable components, and Cu as the balance. Also, in order to raise a deoxidizing effect and to improve the workability, it is more desirable that one kind or more of elements of B and Ti are added by 0.01-0.3 wt% in total. |
