A crash barrier formed by at least one horizontal rail (3) constituted by wooden rail elements (4) and by wooden posts (5) each supporting two adjacent rail elements (4), each rail element (4) being provided at each of its ends with a metal support enabling it to be connected to the adjacent end of the next rail element, characterized in that each metal support is formed by a metal plate (6, 15, 21, 26) which is driven into an associated slot (7, 22, 23) formed at each end of each rail element (4) and which is fixed therein by means of at least of one bolt (9) passing through the rail element (4) in a direction perpendicular to that of the slot (7, 22, 23).</p> |
