The container such as a silo for slow-running powder and granular material comprises wall elements (1) consisting of two or more stackable units (2A,2B). Each unit has a cross-section in the form of a symmetrical trapezium, consisting of three bent rectangular plates. Two of the plates have L-shaped sections forming side walls (3,5,10,12) and overlapping top walls (4,6,11,13). The plates forming side and top walls are joined at the bottom by a plate bent to a U-shaped cross-section. This plate has a central portion (4,14) and two downwardly directed longitudinal flanges (8,9,15,16). The units are stacked with the smaller of the parallel surfaces facing upwardly, and are welded at their ends to a connecting plate (17) to form a wall element. |
