PURPOSE:To correct exposure regardless of whether a film speed setting mode is manual or automatic by adding a film speed value detected by a film speed detecting device to an exposure correction value when the film speed setting is switched to the automatic setting mode. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 20 for switching the manual and automatic film speed setting modes is turned on, the automatic setting mode is entered.The code 22a of the film F in a film cartridge 22 is detected by a detecting device 23 and converted by a converting circuit 24 into a resistance value R2, which is sent to a selecting and adding circuit 21. When the changeover switch 20 is off, the manual setting mode is set and a resistance value R1 is inputted to the selecting and adding circuit 21. The exposure correction value is supplied as the resistance R3 of the 2nd variable resistor 19 and the resistance value R1 or R2 selected by the selecting and adding circuit 21 is added to the R3, so that the sum R4 is sent to an exposure arithmetic circuit 25A constituting an automatic exposure controller.
