A stabilizing mount for a photographic tripod the feet of which are each provided with a spigot- mounted manually-rotatable bush at the end thereof; said stabilizing mount comprising a rigid base board 5 containing three slots 8 therethrough radially extending towards a common centre, the open end of each slot being situated at an edge of the said board and blind ends of the slots terminating at equal distances from the said common centre, the said slots being of such dimensions as to accommodate a said tripod leg to be secured therein by rotation of the associated said manually-rotatable bush thereunder. Preferably the slots are undercut slots, the combination of such a stabilizing mount and tripod preferably includes such a tripod which is provided at its top with a threaded spigot designed to engage a camera base, and wherein the said combination includes a tray adapted to be secured to the said spigot. <IMAGE> |
