MANUFACTURE OF THERMAL-CELL

PURPOSE:To improve life of a thermal-cell while improving adsorption by a compact by adding a material to be adsorbed to an inorganic adsorbent material divided in two times for being mixed and preadsorbed after the first adding and mixing. CONSTITUTION:A 16pts.wt. of fine silica powder and an 84pts.wt. of an electro lyte are uniformly mixed. Next, in a preheating treatment process, the electro lyte is adsorbed to the surfaces of fine silica powder followed by crashing the mixture for being powdered under 60 meshes. The addition is made so that a mixing ratio of fine silica powder and the electrolyte may be 12:88 to be again mixed sufficiently. Thereafter, a compact is made for being given heat treatment and crashed followed by being regularly molded into an electro lytic layer of a thermal-cell while using said powder. The discharge life of the thermal-cell having used said pellet is sharply increased.
