PURPOSE:To obtain the automatic producing system of a table specification by providing a means for reading a data stating part from a source program and a means for generating a table defining body for matching the statement to contents of the table specification. CONSTITUTION:The source program 16 is analyzed by the data stating part 13 of a table specification producing program 12. Then requirements are extracted and edited to produce a basic information 17, that is, the table defining body, and simultaneously the requirements are displayed on the screen of a display part 11. When an operator inputs information such as addition and update through a keyboard 19 in accordance with the information on the screen, the table defining body producing part 14 generates a table defining body entire information 18, which is edited by a table specification producing part 15 and outputted on a file as a table specification data 20. Simultaneously it is outputted to a printer as a printed output 21, whereby an error-free table specification can be quickly obtained.
