发明名称 CHASSIS OF FLOPPY DISK DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain high mechanical strength and dimensional accuracy without generating directivity in characteristics such as mechanical strength, thermal expansion and shrinkage on molding by molding a titled chassis of a synthetic resin compsn. consisting of a non-crystalline thermoplastic resin compounded with glass fibers and mica. CONSTITUTION:The non-crystalline thermoplastic resin is used for the synthetic resin as a base to eliminate the unstability of the dimensional accuracy owing to the crystal orientability of the synthetic resin itself. The chassis is molded of the synthetic resin compsn. compounded with the mica which is the thin flake having the excellent mechanical strength in addition to the glass fibers as reinforcing materials to eliminate the directivity of the reinforcing effect. Non-crystalline and highly fire-retardant synthetic resins such as polycarbonate, 'U polymer(R)' are used for the synthetic resin to form the base. The glass fibers are compounded with the synthetic resin at 20-30wt% and the mica at 10-25wt%.
