PURPOSE:To simplify a device and to reduce the size thereof by laminating successively a low resistor layer having prescribed surface resistance and photoconductor layer on an insulating substrate so that the unnecessary electrostatic latent image on the recording medium can be erased by the irradiation of light. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium is constituted of the photoconductor layer 9, the low resistor layer 10 and the insulating substrate 11. A conductive material having 10<5>-10<8>OMEGA surface resistance is used for the layer 10. There are metals such as Cu, Al, Au, Ag and Pt and compds. such as SnO2 and ITO as the low resistor having 10<5>-10<8>OMEGA surface resistance. |
