PURPOSE:To improve acceptance potential during long-term use by laminating an electrostatic charge generating layer, a charge transfer layer, and a layer contg. a cinnamic acid deriv. on a conductive substrate to form an electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is prepared by successively laminating on the conductive substrate the charge generating layer, the charge transfer layer, and a layer contg. a cinnamic acid deriv., and when needed, interlayers between each layer. Further, as the uppermost layer, a layer may be formed for another purpose. The charge transfer layer liable to deteriorate can be protected by forming a layer contg. a component effective for prevention of its deterioration. The cinnamic acid derivatives are known as UV absorbers, and they exhibit effect for protecting the charge transfer material from ozone, too. |
