PURPOSE:To prevent a toner from staining at the time of cleaning an image bearing body of a residual toner with a cleaning member by arranging a stain preventing member between said body and a transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The stain preventing member 17 arranged between the photosensitive drum 1 and the transfer material, preferable, made of a sheet-formed material good in slipperiness and releasability, such as a tetrafluoroethylkene resin, polyethylene, or polyester, prevents the toner C having leaked from the cleaner and accumulated on the drum 1 from being transferred onto the transfer paper. |
