PURPOSE:To adjust precisely the amount of protrusion of a magnetic head at a side of a carriage by disposing a spindle motor supported movably vertically of a floppy disk with respect to a chassis by means of by means of a leaf spring. CONSTITUTION:Of magnetic heads 12, 13 holding a floppy disk 11 therebetween from both surfaces thereof under a predetermined contact pressure, a signal output is detected, and a spindle motor 19 supported movably vertically of floppy disk 11 through a leaf spring 20 with respect to a chassis 18 is moved vertically by means of a vertical movement minutely adjusting screw 21 disposed at a lower surface side thereof. When the signal output is most stabilized, the vertical movement fine adjusting screw 21 is fixed by laser or a soldering. As a result, A relative position relation between a lower surface of the floppy disk 11 supported through a spindle hub 22 by the spindle motor 19 and an upper end surface of the magnetic head 13 is determined. |
