PURPOSE:An insecticide that is obtained by adding a apecific stabilizer such as polyoxyethylene (2)-laurylamine to an insecticide for agricultural and horticultural pupose containing a specific organic phosphoric acid ester, as an active ingredient, thus showing improved stability with passage of time in a variety of preparations. CONSTITUTION:An organic phosphoric ester derivative of formula I (R1, R2 are lower alkyl), which has high insecticidal activity against a wide range of insect pests is combined with 0.5-5.0wt% of at least one selected from the compounds of formula II (R is branched or straight-chain alkyl or alkenyl or 8-20 carbon atoms; X is H, methyl; m, n are integers more than 0 where 1<=m+n<=30) as a stabilizer whereby the active ingredient is stabilized in a variety of preparations such as dust, granules, wettable dust or emulsion. The stabilizer has no problems of chemical injury to crop plants and on toxicity to men and animals.
