REPEATED INPUT SYSTEM OF CHARACTER

PURPOSE:To execute the repeated input of the same 'Kanji' (Chinese character) or the like easily by forming a repeat key for indicating the repeat of a character displayed immediately before a cursor. CONSTITUTION:Data inputted from an input device 10 are analyzed and worked by a CPU 20 and written in a document buffer 41 of a memory (RAM) 40 on the basis of a code format. Simultaneously with said processing, the CPU 20 reads out the contents on the screen of a display device 50 and supplies and displays the read-out contents on the display device 50. When a repeat key is depressed, the CPU 20 reads out a character in the document buffer 41 which is to be displayed immediately before the cursor and supplies the character to the display device 50 so as to be inserted into a position immediately before the cursor. The CPU 20 executes similar processing also for a character string in the document processing buffer 41.
