PURPOSE:To obtain a cabinet for audio equipment of low manufacturing cost with excellent vibration characteristic and less change in the lapse of time by using cellulor concrete compound material composed of light weight aggregate, cement, water and foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:Concrete base material 7 with bubbles of 1mm diameter which is composed of light weight aggregates such as artificial gravel and volcanic gravel, cement, water and foaming agent of metal particles such as aluminum and magnesium is molded by a metallic die excluding a photo motor attaching part 8 and a tone arm attaching part. On the surface of the audio cabinet base material 7, decorative panel 10 of real wood is attached to increase the outer appearance characteristic of a record player. By changing the composition of the light weight aggregate, the specific gravity can easily be controlled, and therefore the weight can also be easily controlled and by metallic die molding, mass volume can be produced at low costs.
