PURPOSE:To array more smoothly magnetic powder in parallel with a substrate plane by providing annular permanent magnets near the top end of an injection nozzle for a magnetic paint and impressing the magnetic fields in parallel with the axial center to the magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of the annular permanent magnets 10 are disposed near the top end of the nozzle 5 for injecting the magnetic paint. The magnets 10 are so magnetized in the direction parallel with the axial center of the nozzle 5 so that both ends are of N and S poles. The magnets are also so disposed that the adjacent magnetic poles are of the same polarity. As a result, the magnetic flux is generated in the direction parallel with the axial center and the needle-like magnetic powder 9a is arrayed in parallel with the axial center, by which the entanglement is easily loosened and the powder 9a is thus more smoothly arrayed with respect to the substrate plane by the orientation treatment after coating.
