PURPOSE:To make possible the visualization of high-viscosity fluid with simple constitution by feeding fine foam into the high-viscosity liquid stored in a vessel. CONSTITUTION:The high-viscosity fluid is stored in the 1st vessel 1. A pipe 2 is a pipe to feed the air to the high-viscosity fluid and is attached with a nozzle 3 for forming the fine foam at the top end thereof. An illuminating device 6 is disposed to the rear of a visualizing tank 5 and irradiates light on the tank 5. An observing device 7 observes the foam moving together with the high-viscosity fluid in the tank 5 and the result of the observation is recorded in a recorder 8 operating cooperatively with the device 7. The condition of the flow is therefore observed from the movement of the foam group and if the moving direction, speed and size of certain foam are noticed, the direction and size of the speed vector at said point are observed. The two-dimensional flow of the fluid is thus observed by following up the two-dimensional movement of the foam in the above-mentioned manner and in addition, the forward and backward movement of the foam is known by sensing the luminance of the foam.
