PURPOSE:To improve moisture resistance, antistaining property, and wear resistance remarkably and to obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior durability generating no bleeding in the picture image by incorporating a specified fluorine-contg. oligomer in a photosensitive layer provided on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:0.3-5wt% (basing on the total solid content in the photosensitive layer) fluorine-contg. oligomer expressed by the formula I or II [wherein R is H, (substituted) alkyl, (substituted) aralkyl, (substituted) aryl, wherein the substituent may be halogen, alkoxy, dialkylamino, etc.; m and n are integers, n being 4-20] is incorporated in a photosensitive layer. The retarding effect for bleeding of picture image is retained and a uniform photosensitive layer having sufficient compatibility with a resin constituting the photosensitive layer is formed if the number average mol.wt. of the oligomer is selected between 2,000 and 10,000. For a layer-built type photosensitive layer, it is preferred that the oligomer is incorporated in the upper layer side photosensitive layer, particularly in a charge transfer layer as the upper layer. By this method, a photosensitive body having improved moisture resistance, wear resistance, and durability and providing superior picture image contg. no bleeding of picture image is obtd. |
