PURPOSE:To execute easily monitoring of a quality of an optical fiber and an early detection of deterioration of the performance by constituting a titled optical fiber cable so that the tip of an optical fiber can be confirmed visually through a window part provided on said cable. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 1 is contained in a protective tube 2, and one end 1A of the optical fiber is supported fixedly by a fixing chuck 3. The other end 1B of the optical fiber is projected from a tip 2B of a protective tube, and also constituted so that it can be slide-moved freely in the longitudinal direction in this part. In a slide-moving end B of this optical fiber, a window part 8a is provided on a hand piece box body 8 for holding the tip 2B of the protective tube and a condensing lens 9, so that the tip 1B of the optical fiber can be confirmed visually through this window part 8a. |
