PURPOSE:To prevent the air rate from decreasing and noise from generating in an air conditioner, by unitarily providing a fan guard and a fan orifice which forms a circuit for the blast of air in a grille body, and by providing a step inclined to the circumferential direction to the fan orifice. CONSTITUTION:A fan guard 6a and a fan orifice 6b are unitarily provided in a grille body 6. The fan guard 6a consists of a plurality of ribs having oblong sections, projected to the lateral direction in front of a front grille body 6. An inclined step to the circumferential direction is provided to the fan orifice 6b, and the ribs of a fan guard 6a are disposed along the step, forming ribs 6c. When a fan 7 is driven, the air smoothly passes through the front grille body 6, and part of it flows along the fan orifice 6b and the ribs 6c, before passing through the front grille body 6. Especially, the ribs 6c on the step produce rectifying effect to the air flow. |
