PURPOSE:To prevent a damage of a disk by a simple treatment by separating the disk from a tray in a player and connecting the disk with a turntable when the tray holding the disk is inserted into the player. CONSTITUTION:A tray 11 holding a disk 10 is moved along a guide 18 and set on a turn table 13. then, by a movement of a cam 14, the tray 11 moves near to the turntable 13. In a process of this movement, the disk 10 contacts the turntable 13 and contacts a pin 16 thereafter. By a further movement of the cam 14, when the tray 11 moves downwards, the disk 10 is pressed to the pin 16, presses and opens jaws 1, 2, 3, 4 and a loading is completed separating from the tray 11. During the completion of the loading, the disk 10 is held between the turntable 13 and a member fixing the disk 10 and fixed to the turntable 13. In this manner, with the disk 10 and fixed to the turntable 13. In this manner, with the disk held on the tray, the loading can be done, so that the damage of the disk is prevented.
