PURPOSE:To execute easily an arrangement of a light emitting element, a photodetector or an optical fiber by coupling by an optical waveguide collecting element an (n) terminal side for bringing a light to wavelength demultiplexing or multiplexing by a diffraction grating, and a light emitting element, a photodetector or an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:To an optical fiber 1 for an input or output use, a diffraction grating 2 for bringing a light to wavelength demultiplexing or multiplexing is coupled by a lens 3, an optical waveguide collecting element 5 is coupled to this diffraction grating 2 through a lens 4, and also a light emitting element or a photodetector or an optical fiber 6 is connected to this optical waveguide collecting element 5. As for the optical waveguide collecting element 5, plural pieces of optical waveguides 7 are formed, and an end face 5a of the side opposed to its diffraction grating is inclined in accordance with a position where the lens 4 condenses each wavelength. |
