PURPOSE:To make the arithmetic processing for shunting operation unnecessary at the succeeding work from a current position and to attain rapid operation by storing the positional information of the obstacle and operating information for shunting a robot from the obstacle and controlling the robot on the basis of the operating information of the current position. CONSTITUTION:The robot advances its working course in the initial trial and stores its positional information and operating information in a RAM 25. If a visual information reader 12 detects a step or an obstacle in its visual field in the 2nd trial or after, a positional information reader 26 reads out the current position and a CPU 23 compares the positional information stored in the RAM 25 with the current positional information to retrieve the current information, and if a coincident positional information exists, reads out the operating information stored correspondingly to the positional information and executes the operation on the basis of the read-out information. |
