PURPOSE:To obtain high accuracy by setting the temperature at which the oscillation frequencies of a temperature oscillation circuit and a reference oscillation circuit become equal to each other to <=35 deg.C or >=40 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:The reference oscillation circuit 1 and temperature oscillation circuit 2 oscillates at the start of thermometry to generate a reference signal phi1 and a temperature sensing signal phi2 and a control signal generating circuit 3 generates the 1st reset signal phir1 to reset a temperature counting circuit 5. Then, an AND gate 4 is opened with a sample signal phis and a count signal phic is supplied to the circuit 5, which outputs the 1st temperature information T. This information T is compared 7 with the maximum information Tmax of a data holding circuit 6 and when T>Tmax, an AND gate 8 is opened. A latch signal phil1 generated by the circuit 3 is therefore passed through the gate 8 and impressed to the latch terminal of the circuit 6; and the information T in the circuit 5 is written in the circuit 6 and displayed 10 through a decoder circuit 9 as the current maximum value Tmax. In this case, the temperature at which the oscillation frequencies of the circuits 1 and 2 become equal is set to <=35 deg.C or >=40 deg.C. |
