PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a narrow compartment, by storing a telephone set in a retracted position when it is not used. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set mounting device includes a post 21 fixed on a console box and a telephone set support member 41 surrounding the post 21. The post 21 is provided with outwardly projecting pins 31 on vertical surfaces thereof, and the support member 41 is formed on its inner side surfaces with guide channels 45 to be engaged with the pins 31. Stoppers 47 for stopping the pins 31 are provided at lower ends of the guide channels 45. A body of the telephone set is mounted on one side surface of the support member 41. When the telephone set is not used, it is rotated to a horizontal position, while when used, it is rotated to a vertical position. |
