A lake collector containing a heat exchanger core (13) and a propeller (18) to produce a lake water current through the heat exchanger core. The propeller (18) is driven by a turbine wheel (19), which in turn is driven by the heat absorbing fluid that is pumped through the heat exchanger core by means of a circulation pump (17) that is located next to a heat pump evaporator (14).
