The following is a description of a brace support used to reinforce the brace when erecting concrete moulds. The brace support comprises a stand (1) and a brace lock (10) for holding the brace in place in the stand. The stand consists of a pyramid-shaped frame constructed of rod elements with a triangular bottom frame (2, 3, 4) and a U-flange, which is situated at the top of the frame construction where the three rod elements (5, 6, 7) converge in the centre from their individual corners. The purpose of the U-flange (8) is to retain the brace. The brace lock consists of an angle iron (16) with a pair of cramp irons (17, 18) that are welded to the outsides of the flanges and run parallel on both sides of the U-flange (8) and diagonally downward over a lock pin (9) that is welded in place on the stand (1) behind the U-flange and serves as a retainer for securing the brace.<IMAGE> |
