PURPOSE:To ensure the effective application of a data processor by producing an alarm when the number of stored data of a memory is equal to the value smaller than the maximum memory capacity by a prescribed amount and then discontinuing the input of the data to the memory when the data quantity exceeds the maximum memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:The oil supply data, etc. are sent simultaneously to a data processor set apart by 10-20m from terminal equipments S1-Sn. In such a case, the maximum quantity of data that can be stored to a memory is referred to as N together with the prescribed integer value smaller than N referred to as DELTAN respectively. Then the input data are stored to the memory with generation of an alarm in case the stored data quantity is set between (N-DELTAN) and N. Then the storage of data is stopped when the data quantity exceeds the value N. Thus an operator can obtain an alarm at the (N-DELTAN)-th data and therefore knows the shortage of the memory capacity. Then the operator detects the alarm to erase and transfer the old data. This increases the memory enable areas.
