PURPOSE:To make a thin type battery economical and reduce its contact resistance against equipment by plating only one-sided surface of a sealing plate that is used additionally as a negative electrode terminal, arranging this gold plating layer on the outer surface of the battery, forming the layer into a dish- shaped form, and providing a U-shaped folding section on the edge tip. CONSTITUTION:A sealing plate 4 that is used additionally as a negative electrode terminal is formed by masking a copper surface with a three-layered clad band type plate made of nickel-stainless steel-copper, using nickel as the grounding layer, applying the gold plating of 0.2mum thick, forming the plate into a dish-shaped form by way of press punching, and providing a U-shaped fold on the edge tip. In addition, a thin type silver oxide battery and such are formed by being filled with negative electrode materials 6 made of zinc with a gold plating layer 4 on the surface and combining positive electrode black mix 2 made of a mixture between the silver oxide powder and graphite that fill a positive electrode case 1. As a result, only the one-sided surface of the plate can economically be produced using the gold plating layer and the contact resistance against equipment can be reduced. |
