PURPOSE:To secure the life of sealing material and permit to effect injection molding of high efficiency by a method wherein sliding surface seal and fixed surface seal are provided on a frame member slidable into the opening and closing direction of the mold to develope sealing effect continuously from the half way of closing of the mold to the beginning of the opening of the mold. CONSTITUTION:The frame member 2, slidable into the opening and closing direction of the mold, is arranged beside the template 3, surrounding a cavity 1, and the frame member 2 is retained to a hunger bold 6 for regulating a stroke while a sliding surface between the template 3 and the frame member 2 is provided with the sealing member 4. The template 7, opposing to the template 3, is provided with a mounting groove, holding the sealing member 8 and fitting the sealing member 8 forcibly thereinto when engagement between the frame member 2 and the template 7 is finished. Upon closing the mold, the seal member 8 is provided with a pilot pressure by a compression coil spring 6 to realize cavity sealing effect until the beginning time of opening of the mold by utilizing both of the seal members 8, 4. According to this method, the life of the sealing members may be secured and the cavity sealing structure, capable of stabilized and highly efficient molding, may be obtained. |
