PURPOSE:To prevent short-circuiting between a lead wire and a conductive adhesive used for attaching a piezoelectric element to an ultrasonic delay medium, by setting the forming direction of the lead wire at the side opposite to the lead-out direction. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric elements 2 and 2 for input and output are attached to an ultrasonic delay medium 1 on the surface orthogonal to the transmitting direction of ultrasonic waves via a conductive adhesive 5. While a lead wire 4 is attached to the element 2 at the side opposite to the bonding side to the medium 1 via a conductive adhesive 5. Here the wire 4 is formed in the direc tion opposite to the lead-out direction in order to increase the curvature radius of the wore 4 in a forming mode. As a result, short-circuiting can be prevented between the adhesive 3 and the wire 4.
