PURPOSE:To obtain a laser output having desired stable intensity by projecting linearly polarized laser beams to a Brewster window rotatably mounted centering around an incident optical axis at a Brewster angle, turning the Brewster window and modulating the intensity of transmitting laser beams. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams 3 from a linearly polarized type laser oscillator 1 are outputted as linearly polarized beams having the predetermined direction of polarization, and projected to a lasdr-output modulator 5 revolving around a Z axis by a rottary aeanmsn moouted outside the oscillator 1 at a Brewster angle. The statte of polarized beams projected toa Brewster window 7 in the modulator 5 is changed by the revolution of the window 7, and transmitting laser beams 9 are controlled. Accordingly, the intensity of a projecting laser can be varie while laser outputs from the laser oscillator are kept constant at all tims, thus stably acquiring the laser having desired intensity. |
