PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive strength of an optical diffusion coat provided on the inner wall of the outer tube in a bulb type fluorescent lamp and prevent the generation of spotted unevennesses by forming the optical diffusion coat while adding barium nitrate and such to potassium pyrosulfate and such. CONSTITUTION:A bulb type fluroescent lamp is formed by internally sealing a pair of hot cathodes 2 and 2' that adheres to a stem 1 in one end, opening the other end, and housing bent glass tubes 3 and 3' with a phosphor coat 4 on the inner wall in an outer tube 5 with an optical diffusion coat 6 on the inner wall. In this case, the optical diffusion coat 6 is formed by adding barium nitrate, strontium nitrate, boric acid, and such to an optical diffusion agent consisting of potassium pyrosulfate, aluminum oxide, phosphor, and such and being coated with them. As a result, the coupling between the respective particles of the optical diffusion agent can be reinforced by barium nitrate and such and an external view can be improved without generating any falling off and such even after a lapse of long-term lighting. |
