PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence frequency of an erroneous decision by giving a model identification function and a function for selecting automatically a test program to a telephone terminal tester. CONSTITUTION:When the data telephone terminal 200 receives a mode establishing signal, terminal model identification request information is transmitted from an FM signal transmitting/receiving part 2 to the terminal 200. When terminal model identification information is transmitted to the tester 100, the terminal model is identified by an originating terminal identification part 9, and a communications speed is set. A test pattern is also decided. The program from a test pattern generating part 10 transmits test program information to the terminal 200, and a test operator transmits test information. It is accumulated in an FM signal reception accumulating part 3 and decided by a data collating part 7, and its result is transmitted from the FM signal receiving part 2; therefore the test operator can find normalcy with the aid of the information. |
